IE AT HCCVSSISTER SCHOOLIE TRIPKOREA

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION AT NATIONAL HSINCHU COMMERCIAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

PREFACE
The International Education curriculum at National Hsinchu Commercial Vocational High School (HCCVS) is based on the three main axes of “Global Issues,” “Cultural Learning,” and “International Connections,” and on this basis, various curriculum issues are developed, even through the exploration process itself, to develop students’ awareness of internationalization and to enhance their global competitiveness.

The school promotes internationalization as part of the Ministry of Education’s policy to enhance national competitiveness. International exchange activities strengthen students’ foreign language skills, foster an understanding and care for different cultures, and expand students’ international perspectives and worldviews.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TRIPS

The school exchanges on international education trips are the closest window for our students at HCCVS to observe students from different countries and are the main focuses of international education. During the sister school visits, students from each other's schools will be able to see the school life of high school students from different countries and observe each other's courses and club activities. Such experiences should also help students to learn and grow, broaden their horizons, discover themselves, and build their self-confidence.

IN ADDITION TO SCHOOL EXCHANGES, STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO SEE MONUMENTS, SCENIC SPOTS, HERITAGE, CUSTOMS, STREET SCENES, AND EVEN EXPERIENCE SKIING, HOT SPRINGS, AND KOREAN CLOTHING ON THEIR TRIPS. STUDENTS WILL ALSO LEARN ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF PRESERVING CULTURAL HERITAGE, THE CONCEPT AND CARE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, AND THE STANDARDS AND HABITS REQUIRED BY LAW.
