words from the Principal

Thank you for your support. With your help, National Hsinchu Commercial Vocational High School continues to reach new heights of excellence!

It is with great honor and gratitude that I first became a principal in this esteemed institution. Throughout my tenure, I have not only gained valuable experience in administrative management and decision-making, but I have also come to deeply appreciate the core values of curriculum leadership. I have also learned to listen attentively to the needs of both our teachers and students, walking alongside them in our shared journey. Though each challenge has required great effort, every experience has been an opportunity for growth. I will forever cherish the moments I have spent growing with National Hsinchu Commercial Vocational High School.

From the academic years 2017 to 2024, through the collective efforts of our staff, faculty, students, and parents, our school has achieved remarkable success. To create a better learning environment, we have actively pursued upgrades to both our campus infrastructure and teaching resources, laying a solid foundation for education. At the same time, we have prioritized curriculum innovation and the cultivation of our students’ cultural and artistic talents. We aim to equip them with the skills and virtues needed to meet future challenges, in alignment with “HCCVS Five Forces.” Through a variety of extracurricular activities, we have been able to discover and celebrate the unique talents of our students, fostering their confidence and unlocking their full potential. With the collaboration of parents and teachers, we have worked together to support our students’ growth and development. As the old saying goes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, just as the vast ocean is formed by the gathering of countless streams.” Every bit of progress we make brings us closer to realizing our dreams.

Our school continues to excel in various areas, earning prestigious honors such as the National Outstanding High School Library Award, the Excellent School in Occupational Safety and Health Award, the Excellent School in Scout Education Award, and the Ministry of Transportation’s Golden Safety Award, all of which highlight the unwavering dedication and teamwork of our faculty and students. Each achievement adds new glory to National Hsinchu Commercial Vocational High School, paving the way for even greater accomplishments.

Looking ahead into the future, let us continue to work hand in hand, carrying forward the legacy of our predecessors, and together, let’s create even more brilliant milestones for our school.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION AT NATIONAL HSINCHU COMMERCIAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

PREFACE
The International Education curriculum at National Hsinchu Commercial Vocational High School (HCCVS) is based on the three main axes of “Global Issues,” “Cultural Learning,” and “International Connections,” and on this basis, various curriculum issues are developed, even through the exploration process itself, to develop students’ awareness of internationalization and to enhance their global competitiveness.

The school promotes internationalization as part of the Ministry of Education’s policy to enhance national competitiveness. International exchange activities strengthen students’ foreign language skills, foster an understanding and care for different cultures, and expand students’ international perspectives and worldviews.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TRIPS

The school exchanges on international education trips are the closest window for our students at HCCVS to observe students from different countries and are the main focuses of international education. During the sister school visits, students from each other's schools will be able to see the school life of high school students from different countries and observe each other's courses and club activities. Such experiences should also help students to learn and grow, broaden their horizons, discover themselves, and build their self-confidence.

IN ADDITION TO SCHOOL EXCHANGES, STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO SEE MONUMENTS, SCENIC SPOTS, HERITAGE, CUSTOMS, STREET SCENES, AND EVEN EXPERIENCE SKIING, HOT SPRINGS, AND KOREAN CLOTHING ON THEIR TRIPS. STUDENTS WILL ALSO LEARN ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF PRESERVING CULTURAL HERITAGE, THE CONCEPT AND CARE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, AND THE STANDARDS AND HABITS REQUIRED BY LAW.
