Student ActivitiesStudent ActivitiesIn recent years, National Hsinchu Commercial & Vocational High School (HCCVS) has been actively promoting interdisciplinary elective courses and collaborating with corporations. At the same time, the school encourages participation in various practical competitions to continuously strengthen students' professional skills and career competitiveness.

In addition to excellence in academic advancement, the school has achieved fruitful results in promoting technical and vocational education. Students have consistently earned top honors in vocational fields such as the National Student Skills Competition, thematic projects, new retail competitions, website design contests, and creative design. Furthermore, students have shown outstanding performance in activities demonstrating language expression and communication skills, such as the National Language Arts Competition, reading reflection essay contests, and the creation of learning portfolios. This fully demonstrates the school's dual strengths in both academic foundations and technical practice.

Currently, there are over 40 student clubs on campus, covering diverse fields including music, physical education, technical arts, recreation, academics, and service. The school also hosts annual events such as the school anniversary sports meet, dance competitions, ball games, aquatic meets, the Eighteen Peaks Mountain road run, school fairs, learning outcome exhibitions, thematic project competitions, skill competition trials, and independent learning showcases. These events provide a diverse stage for students to showcase their talents. Additionally, well-established student self-governance organizations effectively nurture students' administrative and leadership abilities, creating a complete and rich learning ecosystem on campus.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION AT NATIONAL HSINCHU COMMERCIAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

PREFACE
The International Education curriculum at National Hsinchu Commercial Vocational High School (HCCVS) is based on the three main axes of “Global Issues,” “Cultural Learning,” and “International Connections,” and on this basis, various curriculum issues are developed, even through the exploration process itself, to develop students’ awareness of internationalization and to enhance their global competitiveness.

The school promotes internationalization as part of the Ministry of Education’s policy to enhance national competitiveness. International exchange activities strengthen students’ foreign language skills, foster an understanding and care for different cultures, and expand students’ international perspectives and worldviews.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TRIPS

The school exchanges on international education trips are the closest window for our students at HCCVS to observe students from different countries and are the main focuses of international education. During the sister school visits, students from each other's schools will be able to see the school life of high school students from different countries and observe each other's courses and club activities. Such experiences should also help students to learn and grow, broaden their horizons, discover themselves, and build their self-confidence.

IN ADDITION TO SCHOOL EXCHANGES, STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO SEE MONUMENTS, SCENIC SPOTS, HERITAGE, CUSTOMS, STREET SCENES, AND EVEN EXPERIENCE SKIING, HOT SPRINGS, AND KOREAN CLOTHING ON THEIR TRIPS. STUDENTS WILL ALSO LEARN ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF PRESERVING CULTURAL HERITAGE, THE CONCEPT AND CARE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, AND THE STANDARDS AND HABITS REQUIRED BY LAW.
